A. Yousry, MD, FACOG is a board-certified OB/GYN who has provided obstetrical and gynecological services to New Jersey women since graduating from a prestigious Mount Sinai residency training program (JCMC campus). He received his medical degree from Alexandria University School of Medicine. He served in private practice and in the teaching faculty at Hackensack University Medical Center before joining the teaching faculty at Jersey City Medical Center and opening a private practice at the above location. Dr. Yousry is also an Assistant Professor at Saint George University School of Medicine and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of OB/GYN at NYCOM.
Dr. Muhammad is passionate about Womens Health. Her genuine regard for the physical, emotional and overall health of women is evidenced by her warm, gentle manner and careful approach.
Dr. Muhammad has great pride in practicing in the state she was born and raised. She attended Rutgers, The State University for her undergraduate degree. Dr. Muhammad earned her medical degree and completed her residency at Rutgers University Medical School in Newark, New Jersey in Obstetrics and Gynecology. As a resident, she was awarded the Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award by the Arnold P. Gold Foundation. She was also elected as the Administrative Chief resident and received the Chairman's award, as well as the Outstanding Achievement in Maternal Fetal Medicine award.
Dr. Muhammad continues her teaching tradition through patient education, which she believes empowers women to take control of their bodies and their health.
Her special interests include routine and High Risk Obstetrics, Preconception Care, Family Planning and Minimally Invasive Surgery.
Dr. Muhammad is Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is an Active Candidate with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecologists.
